Andrew, as Managing Director of Somerset Capital since 1999, has provided corporate, strategic and value enhancement advice to corporate, business owner and sophisticated investors in a wide range of industries including ag tech, agribusiness, food & beverage, technology, energy, packaging, engineering, industrial wholesaling, water, professional services, health, HVAC, building products, hospitality, leisure & entertainment and financial services.
Before establishing Somerset Capital, Andrew had more than 10 years business experience in the USA, Canada, Japan and Australia. This included senior management roles with Cargill and as a commercial lawyer with Herbert Smith Freehills.
He is currently Chairman of Langdon Group, AgLink Australia, AGnVET and a Director of Dairy Australia. Formerly he was a Director of Gardiner Dairy Foundation, Norman Beischer Medical Research Foundation, Mt Hotham Alpine Resort, Pork Cooperative Research Centre and Chairman of The Pastoral Pork Company.

Klaus Wiegel

Klaus has more than 15 years consulting and 15 years managerial experience, primarily in the financial services industry worldwide. He worked with McKinsey & Co. in Germany and Australia, serving clients in Australasia, Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East focusing on core-process re-engineering, strategy and operational performance improvements.
Klaus also worked for 5 years with ANZ Bank in Melbourne in Group and Business Unit strategy and venture capital. During his time at ANZ Ventures Klaus played a key role in divesting a number of investee companies and commercialization of in-house intellectual property. He also evaluated numerous equity investment proposals and stayed on with a few selected investee companies as board observer.
In his consulting work, Klaus is helping clients to improve their bottom-line performance and enhance their economic value. With one of his major clients, Klaus is currently working on wind-farm developments in Victoria. He is also a regular economics commentator on SBS Radio.

Robert Kininmonth

Robert has a passion for working with growth businesses and guiding them through the process of establishing a powerful strategic framework for sustainable growth. He draws on a suite of tools and 15 years of experience working for local & multi-national companies. He has held senior roles in sales, marketing, brand and business management in a variety of industries including manufacturing, technology, agribusiness and FMCG. This included the building of brands for divestment and consulting work to ensure the brand integrity & value was maintained after acquisition.
Robert is currently a Director of A.MacDougall & Company. As CEO for 8 years he managed its transition from a traditional 83 year old wholesale business to a pioneer using cloud based eCommerce business systems to facilitate multi-channel marketing.
Trained and certified in the Gazelles Growth Method™, Robert brings his clients a proven business growth methodology used by thousands of growth companies throughout the world. As a member of Gazelles International, a worldwide, premier business development & coaching association, Robert's clients benefit significantly from his ability to tap into a vast international network focused on driving growth and value.

Jonathan Ambler

Jonathan advises private and listed companies, investors, fund managers and individual directors on corporate transactions and investments, capital raisings, corporate restructures, joint ventures, corporate governance, directors’ duties and succession planning. He has advised clients in a broad range of sectors, including venture capital and private equity, financial services, payment solutions, energy, biotechnology, ICT, manufacturing and professional services. Jonathan is a clear thinker and a pragmatic and committed adviser and negotiator who likes to help his clients’ clarify and achieve their strategic objectives.
Jonathan has been a commercial lawyer for over 28 years. Before joining Somerset Capital, Jonathan was a partner at Maddocks for 10 years and, before then, a partner at Freehills for 7 years. He started his legal career in London with Berwin Leighton.

Geoff has over 25 years experience as a General Management practitioner, Business Advisor and People Leadership specialist, both within Australia and Internationally.
Professionally qualified with postgraduate credentials and international training in Europe and the USA, Geoff’s management career has covered a broad range of industries ranging from Mining, Manufacturing & Wholesale Distribution to Advertising, Management Consulting and Professional Services.
Specialising in large-scale business transitions, Geoff has successfully created and led people management and commercial business functions within start-ups, business acquisitions and restructuring for sale.
After a successful stint in purchasing, restructuring, building and selling another consulting brand, Geoff supports Somerset Capital in delivering transition services both pre and post deal.
