Somerset Capital’s key point of difference is our North American sourcing and distribution capability:
- We have relationships with a select group of North American based advisory firms. Partnering with these firms gives us access to many significant institutional, corporate, private equity and family office investors enabling us to support the capital raising, asset sale / purchase and corporate development objectives of our clients.
- Somerset Capital also represents or has relationships with a number of US based investment funds that invest by way of private placement in ASX listed companies. These funds can invest from $1 million to $100 million by way of straight equity or equity-linked structures. Their due diligence process is typically quick and they are often utilised by companies as a compliment to their more traditional Australian equity raisings.
In Australia, Somerset Capital has relationships with a broad range of corporate, institutional and sophisticated investors who are focused on the midcap, small and microcap markets.
We also work closely with and often in collaboration with other Australian stockbroking and advisory firms.
